The PIAA state baseball playoffs are down to eight teams and will continue Thursday afternoon across the state. Let's take a look at the match-ups and give some predictions on to who will advance to the final four on Monday.
- West Chester East vs. St. Joseph's Prep, 4pm at Glen Mills
- Parkland vs. Wyoming Valley West, 6pm at Pine Grove
- North Penn vs. Council Rock North, 3pm at Boyertown
- North Allegheny vs. Pine-Richland, 6pm at Robinson Twp.
Alright, my picks for the quarterfinals are: West Chester East, Wyoming Valley West, North Penn, and North Allegheny. As always, check back for the results later on tomorrow. The state championship is next Friday at 7pm in Altoona's Blair County Ballpark.
